EMS Modeler is a modeling-only system for 3-D design of complex andfreeform mechanical parts and assemblies. The system provides fullyassociative solid modeling, including freeform design. Both parametricand variational techniques are included. Feature placement commands makebuilding solid models easy and intuitive. Features include: Foundation(separately available), variation geometry and dimension driven solidsmodels, user programming language (PPL), and MicroStation/IGDSTranslator; Advanced Features (separately available), 3-D reference filesand user-defined feature/part libs, section and mass properties, androunding of solid models; Freeform Modeling (separately available),nonuniform rational B-Splines (NURBS), and offset/skinned/lofted/blendsurfaces and solids; and DXF Translator.
